HBO GO is a
streaming service that is included free of charge in your paid HBO subscription
through a TV provider (such as Xfinity, Cox, Spectrum and many more). A cable
or TV package with HBO is required.

How do I log
on to my TV?

Apple
TV (4th generation or higher): See Signing in to tvOS

Other
TVs: Follow the steps below.
To log on to
your TV, you need the following:
A Smartphone or computer
The username
and password for your TV provider account. How to fix HBO Go down and HBO go keeps buffering issues.
To log in to HBO GO on your TV:
1. Open the HBO GO app on your TV and
select Sign in. If you don't see "Sign in," try playing a show or
movie.
2. You should see a 6 digit code. Stay
on this screen while grabbing your phone or computer.
3. Open a web browser on your phone or
computer. In the address bar of your browser, enter the URL that you see on
your television (HBOGO.com/tvsignin or HBOGO.com/activate). Both URLs forward
to activation.HBOGO.com.
4. Enter the code that appears on your
TV, and then select Next.

5. Choose your TV provider.
6. If your TV provider is not listed or
the message "Device is not supported" appears, see Why does my TV
provider not offer HBO GO?
7. Log in to your TV provider account
(enter the username and password for your TV provider account). You don't know
your username or password? Contact your TV provider.
Register for the first time?
HBO GO will
ask you to create a profile:
1. Enter an HBO GO ID. This is a unique
username for your HBO GO profile (and is not used to log in). It must contain
between 3 and 14 characters and must not contain any spaces or special
characters.
2. Enter your email address and zip code
(these fields are optional).
3.
Choose
Create Profile.
4. Your TV screen will be updated and
you can stream HBO GO.
I cannot log on to my TV
Apple TV

Other TVs
(Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, 2nd / 3rd generation Apple TV, PlayStation 4,
Roku, Samsung TV, TiVo, and Xbox One): Try the following troubleshooting
Where do I enter the code from my TV?
If you don't
see a code entry screen, try the following:

Enter
the full URL (e.g. http://HBOGO.com/tvsignin) in the address bar of your
browser instead of the search field.

If
that doesn't help, try the suggestions in the next section.
Code is wrong or not working
If the code
from your TV doesn't work, try the following:
·
Try
another browser: FireFox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge or Safari.

If
you used your phone in step 3 above, try using your computer instead (or vice
