Communications updates its work-from-home policy on Thursday after numerous
reports have been released by employees that the company has asked them to
report personally to work despite the coronavirus pandemic. In a statement to
The Verge, the company stated that "it would provide an opportunity for
employees who we believe can remain productive outside the office to work
remotely without jeopardizing our commitment to provide critical

The cable
and internet giant said it will give its employees an additional three weeks of
paid free time "to be used for all personal needs related to
COVID-19," and "develop enhanced social distancing plans in our call
centers and facilities becomes. ”
This is the
case after at least one Charter employee tested positive for COVID-19 and
